Brian’s Testimony

Carla and I were high school sweethearts. She had always attended church and served God, but although I lived in a Christian home, I really didn’t know Christ and very seldom attended church with my parents. It wasn’t until I graduated in 1986 that I encountered God in a way that marked my life forever. My god was my sports and I had planned on attending college and playing basketball. During the summer of 1986 between high school and college, I worked at a summer job in Palmyra, Missouri in one of the local factories. One day, one of my co-workers asked me if I were to die that day, where would I go. My response was the one most people give: “I would go to heaven.” “Why do you think that?”, the co-worker asked. My answer: “Because I believe in God.” The next words that came out of my co-worker’s mouth forever changed me: “The Devil believes in God, and he shudders.”* I went home that night knowing that there was more than just saying I believe in something. I looked up the word ‘believe’ and found that it means ‘to commit to’. The next day at work, I quietly bowed my head and prayed, “God, if You’re really real, I want to know You.” Nothing seemed to happen and I went about my work. After work, I stopped by to tell my Dad what I had done and then I felt a peace that was unexplainable as tears poured down my face. Within two weeks, I was working in the youth department of Carla’s church and have never stopped reaching out to a lost and dying world.

The Mission
Brian Stone Ministries is a full gospel ministry that is engaged in changing the world according to a mandate from God: "Touching a city, a nation, a continent for God." Just as the apostle Paul stated in I Corinthians 2:4-5, "My message and my preaching were not in persuasive words of wisdom, but in demonstration of the Spirit and of power, so that your faith would not rest on the wisdom of men, but on the power of God," so God is taking Brian all across the world, proclaiming the good news of Jesus Christ, that He still saves, heals, and delivers today. Through the anointing that is upon Brian's life, thousands are being saved and miracles are taking place. To God be the glory.
