Evangelism

A mission team from First Baptist Church of Canton sponsored by the church and Brian Stone Ministries left
Thursday, February 18, 2010 for India. They ministered in Chennai, Nagercoil, and the village of Gamathi Muthu
Puram along with many other ministry opportunities added during the two weeks they were in India.  While
there, they purchased needed items for the Good Samaritan Orphanage in Nagercoil and ministered to the
orphanage and associated church. The team returned to the United States on Thursday, March 4.

Pastor Brian has a mandate to preach the gospel all around the world, reaching the multitudes for Jesus Christ, laying hands on the sick, casting out demons, raising the dead, and bringing hope to the hopeless.  No matter how big or small the crowd, Pastor Brian is committed to go wherever God wants him to go, and preach to those who are searching for God, whether it be one or one million.

Below are a few photos of his evangelism work in India. Through BSM, over 100 Bibles were purchased to give to new Christians in February 2008.

Pastor Brian inscribes a personal note in the Bibles that were given to individuals who had just received Jesus into their hearts.

The people in this picture were standing to receive Christ at a service held February 22, 2008 at Jesus Redeems in Nalumavadi, in South India. There were approximately 3,000 decisions in a crowd of 40,000.  Only a portion of the attendees can be seen in the picture.

The Plan of Salvation / Decision
The most important decision in everyone’s life is the decision to accept Jesus into their heart. God created all men to be equal and in the image of Himself. Some individuals try to find God through success, others through drugs and alcohol. But Jesus says the only way to Heaven is through Him. Romans 10:13 says, “Whoever will call upon the name of the Lord will be saved.”

“If you confess with your mouth Jesus as Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the head, you will be saved.” Romans 10:9

Some individuals feel like they are unworthy to accept Jesus into their lives. But Romans 8:30 says, “Nothing will be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.” That means that whatever mistakes you have made in your life, God has already forgiven them. You just need to ask Him to do it and then believe by faith that you are forgiven. If you would like to accept Jesus as Lord into your life, then please pray this prayer with me.

Dear Jesus, please forgive me of my sins. I ask you to come into my heart and save me. I believe that Jesus died for me and He rose from the dead for me also. Thank you for saving me. Help me to walk with You every day from now on. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.

If you have prayed that prayer from your heart and really meant it, you are saved! The Bible says that your name is written in the Book of Life and the angels in Heaven are rejoicing. Please send me a letter letting me know of the decision that you have just made. I will rejoice with you and continue to pray for you. Praise God, you are a new person in Christ Jesus!
